"A lot of people don’t know this" - AEW star reveals Tony Khan showed no hesitancy in granting his and Adam Copeland's request

AEW President Tony Khan is known for his generosity. When Hurricane Helene devastated the Southeastern United States in late September, he lent a big helping hand to those in need. He did more than just donate a ton of money to the relief fund.

To generate more funds for the victims of Hurricane Helene, Khan is organizing AEW's first show of 2025 in Asheville, North Carolina. The January 1 Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen special will emanate from Cherokee Center in Asheville and will be simulcasted on Max for the first time. Speaking in an interview with 3NTWrestling, Dax Harwood revealed that when he and Adam Copeland (also a resident of North Carolina) asked Tony Khan to donate Starlinks, the AEW head did it without hesitation.

“A lot of people don’t know this, but Tony called. We talked to Tony, myself, and Adam [Copeland]. We talked to Tony. He said, ‘What do you need from me?’ He had already donated a ton of money. Adam said, ‘Well, we’ve got these Starlinks. These huge Starlinks that they’ve donated here. Elon Musk has donated here, but we don’t have the small Starlinks to go out into the woods, to go out to the top of the mountains, so we can find people and give them cell service. So we can communicate with.’ Tony without any hesitancy, if that’s even a word, he sent hundreds of Starlinks to Asheville, North Carolina, on his own dime. He made sure that that was something we were able to do to find people who were lost.” [H/T: Sescoops]

Former AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR warn The Death Riders

Last week on Collision, The Death Riders brutally assaulted FTR for saving Orange Cassidy from their attack. They addressed the incident on this week's edition of Dynamite from their hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

They revealed that the doctors won't clear them for the rest of the year, but warned The Death Riders by stating they would be ready for AEW Dynamite: Fight of the Fallen to settle a score. The duo added that they won't be alone the next time they make their presence felt.
