Adam Cole announces major personal news amid AEW absence

The former WWE Superstar Adam Cole recently shared some personal news amid his absence from AEW. The Panama City Playboy has not been on TV for the past few months.

Adam Cole has been out of action due to injury for the past 11 months now. He last appeared at the recent Double or Nothing Pay-Per-View where he was taken out by MJF. Meanwhile, Cole provided a major personal update.

The former NXT Champion took to his Discord server to provide an update to his 'Chugs Army' gaming community where he announced that he is now moving from Florida to Pennsylvania by himself. Here is what Cole wrote:

“Hey Chugs Army, I just wanted to take this time to give you all a little bit of an update! I can’t explain how much I miss the streams and hanging out with you all. This move has been much more intense than I had planned. I am moving by myself from FL to PA, so it’s taken much more time than I had anticipated."

The star also assured his fans that he will start streaming again next week:

"I don’t think I’m going to be able to stream until next week, but I promise that the first thing I’m going to do once I’m settled is get my streaming setup ready to go so we can hop back on stream. I do think I’ll be gone for the rest of the week as I continue to pack and get ready. Thank you all SO SO much for your patience and understanding. Seriously! Chugs Army, I love you dearly and will keep you posted and updated as much as I can.” [H/T: Ringside News]

Adam Cole wrestled his last match a long time ago

As mentioned earlier, Adam Cole has been out of in-ring action for almost a year. He last wrestled at the AEW All Out 2023 PPV, where he teamed with MJF to defeat The Dark Order for the ROH Tag Team Titles. Cole later suffered an ankle injury and went through multiple surgeries as well.

Moreover, fans have been anticipating the in-ring return of Cole for a long time now. Only time will tell when he will be back inside the squared circle.
