Adam Cole confirms he won't appear at AEW Full Gear 2024; sends a warning to MJF

Adam Cole just revealed his status for AEW Full Gear 2024. However, he has also sent a warning to MJF. Adam Cole and MJF have been feuding for the better part of the year. When the former returned from injury, he made his intentions clear that he wanted to get his hands on Maxwell. However, Roderick Strong also made it clear that he wanted a match against the Salt of the Earth.

Hence, Maxwell devised a devious plan that whoever won three singles matches would face him at Full Gear. While Roderick Strong won his three singles bouts, Cole lost his third against Konosuke Takeshita. Cole was disappointed with the outcome as it will now be Strong vs. Friedman at Full Gear.

Many people believed that Adam Cole would get involved in the match at Full Gear. However, the Panama City Playboy revealed in an interview with 94WIP that he would not interfere in Strong's match but promised to get his hands on the Wolf of Wrestling:

“I’m not done, even though I did not win those three matches, I will in some way, shape, or form eventually get my hands on MJF, it just won’t be this Saturday. By no means will I be involved [in the match], I’m gonna let Roddy do his thing, I know he can handle himself, but yeah, me and Roddy will definitely have some private conversations. We actually already have.” [H/T Ringside News]

MJF made things personal with Roderick Strong this week on Dynamite

MJF has proven many times in the past that he isn't afraid to play dirty. He has often cheated to win against his opponents and will also do or say anything to get under his opponents' skin. This was what happened with Roderick Strong this week.

This week on Dynamite, The Salt of the Earth made his rivalry with Strong more personal by revealing that the latter's mom shot his father when the former WWE star was a child. But he didn't stop there. Following Dynamite, Friedman took to social media to call Roddy "trailer park trash":

"This Saturday. I take out the trailer park trash," wrote the 28-year-old.

As things get heated between these two men, it will be interesting to see who will walk away with the win this weekend at Full Gear 2024.
