Adam Cole hints at former WWE stars' blockbuster reunion in AEW: "It won't be stopped"
AEW star Adam Cole is currently the leader of Undisputed Kingdom. Apart from him, this faction's members include Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Wardlow.
The origin of the Undisputed Kingdom dates back to 2014. However, older than this stable is the relationship between Cole and former ROH World Champion Kyle O'Reilly. The two wrestlers have known each other since they were youngsters. Furthermore, when they were signed to WWE NXT, they were members of The Undisputed Era, alongside Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong. Interestingly, O'Reilly had the opportunity to join Cole's AEW faction earlier this year. But he chose not to.
In a recent appearance on The Danny Ocean Show, Adam Cole opened up on his relationship with The Conglomeration member. Additionally, he hinted at their reunion by stating that if O'Reilly allied with him once again, they could be unstoppable.
"I wish Kyle would understand how powerful the three of us are together. And we've shown throughout history that the combination of Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O'Reilly is a combo that really can't be stopped. It wasn't stopped before, and it won't be stopped in the future," said Cole. [From 14:35 to 14:57]
Adam Cole met Kyle O'Reilly when the former was 19 years old
In the same interaction mentioned above, Cole said that Kyle O'Reilly's destiny is the Undisputed Kingdom. Furthermore, he revealed that the two men met for the first time when Cole was 19 years old.
"I think over time he will realize that joining me and Roderick Strong is not only a great idea; it's an awesome idea. We can run all of AEW without question. I've known Kyle longer than anyone. I met Kyle when I was 19 years old. I was in Kyle's wedding. I know Kyle better than anyone knows Kyle and he knows me better than anyone knows me, honestly," said the former NXT Champion.
