Adam Cole shares two-word cryptic message after confirming AEW Full Gear absence

AEW star Adam Cole sent an unexplained message on social media after revealing that he won't be part of the Full Gear pay-per-view. Many fans believed that he would face MJF on the show, but the former couldn't fulfill Maxwell's challenges.

The Panama City Playboy betrayed him at Worlds End but couldn't face the former AEW World Champion as Cole was injured. The 35-year-old star asked for his match after returning at WrestleDream but the Salt of the Earth denied it and instead laid out an interesting challenge between him and Roderick Strong. Adam failed to win it and was out of the Full Gear card.

The Messiah of the Backbreaker will face MJF at Full Gear after he has won three matches in a row. Just like Adam, he has also been eager to face Maxwell. The 2022 Owen Hart Cup winner recently said he will not interfere in the contest this Saturday.

Adam Cole recently took to Twitter and seemingly stated that he is waiting for his opportunity to face MJF.

"I’ll wait…" he wrote.

Adam Cole had private conversations with Roderick Strong

The 35-year-old star has supported Roderick Strong despite being snubbed from the opportunity at Full Gear pay-per-view.

While speaking with 94WIP, Adam Cole revealed that he and the former International Champion discussed strategy ahead of the latter's match this Saturday.

I will in some way, shape, or form eventually get my hands on MJF, it just won’t be this Saturday. By no means will I be involved [in the match], I’m gonna let Roddy do his thing, I know he can handle himself, but yeah, me and Roddy will definitely have some private conversations. We actually already have," he said.

It remains to be seen if Roderick is able to win the bout against the Salt of the Earth.
