Adam Copeland (fka Edge) wants 37-year-old AEW star to take over House of Black amid Malakai Black’s exit rumors
Adam Copeland (fka Edge) has just commented on the questions surrounding the House of Black and Malakai Black. He has expressed wanting a certain member of the group to take over the faction.
Brody King is one of the stars on the roster who looks to be on his breakout season after an impressive showing throughout 2024, including a good run in the Continental Classic.
Tonight alongside Julia Hart, he was interviewed regarding the future of the House of Black. He said it was a confusing time for them, but before he could say more, he was interrupted by Adam Copeland.
Cope gave credit to all of them, as he mentioned how he believed in their potential, and even wanted to have them by his side in the past. He then told King that it was time to take over.
"We've been through a lot. But I hope you know at the end of all of it, I respect you [King], I respect you [Julia Hart], I respect Buddy. I think you have the world of potential at your feet. I know what you bring to the table, and I felt it. I wanted us to be a group. But I'll tell you what, it's time to take the reins, and run. [0:32-1:02]
Will Ospreay said something similar to Buddy Matthews earlier this week, a sign that the House of Black was now moving forward from Malakai Black.
