Adam Copeland is making the most of his AEW hiatus, shares a very special update

Former AEW TNT Champion Adam Copeland has provided a special update amid his hiatus from All Elite Wrestling. The Rated R Superstar has been out of action since Double or Nothing 2024. He defended the TNT Title against Malakai Black at the PPV.

While he managed to retain the title in the Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match, Adam Copeland broke his tibia. This resulted in the erstwhile Edge getting stripped of the title. The Rated R Superstar has since been out of action. However, Copeland recently revealed that he has been cleared to return to the ring.

Meanwhile, on Instagram, the former WWE Champion shared an update, which seems to indicate that he is enjoying Father Time. The veteran showed off a 'Hello Kitty' trunk he made for his kid.

"Dad upcycle season. This was a Little Mermaid trunk. 'Dad, I’m not into The Little Mermaid now! I’d like, 'Hello Kitty;' Done, kid! Sorry, Ariel!" he wrote.

AEW star Adam Copeland wants to face Will Ospreay before retirement

The erstwhile Edge signed with AEW in 2023 and has had battles with stars such as Christian Cage, Malakai Black, and more. However, the 51-year-old has more opponents on his wishlist, as he recently named Will Ospreay as his dream opponent.

In a recent interview with ComicBook, Adam Copeland heaped praise on The Aerial Assassin and noted how a match against the latter would be fun due to their respective mindsets and in-ring psychology.

"That's definitely a match that, for me, would be so much fun just because the possibilities there with my mindset, my mentality, and how I approach things and how he does would be a lot of fun. And also as a person, he's a really, really good guy who has a massive passion for this!" Adam said. [H/T: Fightful]

We will have to wait and see if Adam Copeland faces Will Ospreay once the former TNT Champion returns to action on AEW TV.
