AEW has already secretly filmed a dream fantasy match for Ricochet

AEW already taped a fantasy match between the former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet, and a popular star recently. The match is slated to air on TV later this week.

Since his blockbuster AEW debut at the All In 2024, Ricochet has had multiple decent TV matches including a pay-per-view bout at WrestleDream as well. The former WWE Superstar competed in a tag team match last week on Dynamite where he teamed up with Powerhouse Hobbs to defeat the team of Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher. Recently, he locked horns with Dante Martin.

While he was not booked on Dynamite last Wednesday, Ricochet competed during this week's Rampage tapings. The former WWE Superstar squared off against Dante Martin of Top Flight in an apparent fantasy match. It was a high-flying encounter as expected from the two athletic personalities.

Speaking of the results of the match, The Future of Flight managed to secure the win in a highly-athletic contest. Moreover, the fans will be able to enjoy the exciting match when Rampage airs this Friday.

Ricochet on his decision to sign with AEW

Ricochet recently admitted that he decided to leave the WWE because AEW reignited his wrestling passion. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight recently, The Future of Flight opened up on his decision to go All Elite:

"Again, at the end of the day, I wasn’t going to go to the highest bidder, I was just going to go to whoever was going to make me feel good and ignite that spark again, because I felt like that fire that was burning inside of me was still there, but it was just like little embers that needed that gasoline on it to really make it ignite. At the time, I felt like AEW could be the gasoline for my fire. Since being there, I feel like I made the right choice."
