AEW announces two popular stars missing due to "family matters"

The AEW roster is home to many close allies, including some who are bound by blood. Family members working together include The Young Bucks, The Gunns, LFI, Top Flight, The Waynes, The Jarretts, The Sabians, even The Don Callis Family. New information has now provided an update on the status of top stars who are missing in action.

Los Ingobernables, aka The Ungovernables, was formed in 2014 by Rush, Andrade, and La Máscara. This led to a few off-shoots, including the faction Rush and his father La Bestia del Ring formed in 2019 - La Facción Ingobernable, aka The Ungovernable Faction. The All Elite version of LFI currently features Rush, his father, his brother Dralistico, The Beast Mortos, and Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

El Toro Blanco has not worked for AEW since the November 14 Collision, where he and Mortos were defeated by The Acclaimed. The Prince of Silver and Gold last worked the October 30 Rampage tapings, teaming with Rush and Mortos to defeat JD Drake, The Butcher, and Beef. Dralistico did work a Mexican indie event on December 1, teaming with his father to defeat DMT Azul and Monsther Clown. AEW has now confirmed that Rush and Dralistico are on hiatus.

Tony Schiavone announced during Saturday's live Collision episode that Rush and Dralistico were "at home with family matters." No additional details were provided, and the lucha stars have not publicly commented since AEW's announcement. Mortos did represent LFI on Collision, defeating Aaron Solo in under one minute.

Rush and Dralistico are older brothers to WWE's Dragon Lee. He last worked the November 25 RAW, where he and Rey Mysterio were defeated by The Creed Brothers, just days after Lee captured the WWE Speed Championship from Andrade.
