AEW appears to have found their own Logan Paul, claims 20-year wrestling veteran

Wrestling veteran QT Marshall has said that AEW may have found its own version of Logan Paul. This should be taken seriously because he has been around for 20 years and can identify talent when he sees one.

Logan Paul has taken the wrestling world by storm and has the fans invested in what he does, given how he seamlessly mixes wrestling with social media and everything else he does. Some fans feel Tony Khan pulled off something similar like that at Full Gear when he got QT Marshall to take on social media star Big Boom AJ.

That turned out to be a great success, his debut really connected with the fans and there were calls for him to be involved more given he won the match against QT Marshall. Marshall was a guest on the My Mom’s Basement podcast when he spoke about Big Boom AJ and said:

"Obviously, WWE has done really well with the Logan Paul stuff. So we're like, 'Okay, who could we find [that] also has a relationship with wrestling already?' And AJ, we saw what he was doing." [H/T - WrestlingInc.]

Taz reveals why AEW roped in Big Boom AJ

AEW commentator Taz is another such star that was fully supportive of the reasons why AEW hired Big Boom AJ. The ECW legend opined that Tony Khan pulled it off because of his reach on social media.

Taz took to X/Twitter before Full Gear and addressed the fans and said:

"It’s still amazes me as the build towards tonight’s #AEWFullGear PPV show… Some hardcore fans are still confused or bitching & crying moaning. That the Costco guy has a match. Wake up… This guy has a huge reach which basically means he has a massive following of millions. Fresh eyes folks!!! It’s all about the casuals… It’s smart business. It’s not about 'bangers.'"

Tony Khan will be hoping that his decision to bring in Big Boom AJ pays off and he will also hope that he may have found his own version of Logan Paul.
