AEW champion knocked out on Dynamite; Hurt Syndicate member eyes title
The Hurt Syndicate took out an AEW star on tonight's Dynamite. The faction has been dominating multiple stars in the company. It seems like their next victim is Daniel Garcia. The Dragon Slayer is one of the top up-and-coming stars of AEW. He recently re-signed with the company a few months ago. He won the TNT Championship at the Full Gear pay-per-view after defeating Jack Perry.
Meanwhile, The Hurt Syndicate has been hurting people inside and outside of the ring. Shelton Benjamin has been a part of the Continental Classic tournament and is present in the Blue League bracket. He entered the arena tonight with three points and was set to face Beast Mortos.
The contest was one of the highlights of the show, as both stars displayed extreme power to put each other down. After an entertaining back and forth, The Standard of Excellence won the bout and earned six points. Later, his faction entered the ring and ambushed Beast Mortos to make a statement.
The mighty faction was interrupted by Daniel Garcia and Mark Briscoe. However, both of them were quickly decimated by Lashley and Benjamin. Later, Shelton held the TNT Championship in his hands, showcasing his interest in the title.
It will be interesting to see if Daniel Garcia retaliates after this attack by The Hurt Syndicate.
