AEW commentator was told to "shut up" through the headset during Bryan Danielson's entrance

Bryan Danielson is one of the greatest names to have stepped inside the squared circle. He has wrestled all around the world and won championships in WWE, Ring of Honor, PWG, and more.

Danielson is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. He is a former AEW World Champion and is adored by millions worldwide. Additionally, reports suggest that he is considered a locker room leader. In his recent matches, his entrance theme has been 'The Final Countdown', an iconic song by the rock band Europe. Interestingly, AEW commentator Excalibur recently revealed that during The American Dragon's first-ever entrance to this song, he was talking on the microphone. However, he was told to "shut up". Tony Khan then explained to him that the crowd would chant "It's the final countdown" during the chorus. Hence, it was important for the commentator to not speak during that moment.

"You know, talking about Danielson, talking about what this match means; blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and while I’m doing that, everybody is screaming in my ear just saying, ‘Shut up! You gotta wait for the chorus! You gotta wait for the chorus!’ And then Tony (Khan) gets on. He’s like, ‘The chorus! The chorus! The chorus!’ And I just somehow was able to ignore him, finish my thought. I finish my thought and then you hear the crowd hit ‘The Final Countdown’ and then Tony gets in my ear and goes, ‘That was f*cking great!,'" said Excalibur. [H/T Post Wrestling]
