AEW criticized by veteran for Jon Moxley suffocating Bryan Danielson at All OutÂ
AEW All Out 2024 was one of the most memorable pay-per-views in recent years. Including the zero hour, the show featured twelve matches, and arguably, all of them delivered.
One of the most talked about matches from All Out was the singles match for the AEW World Championship. This saw the leader of the "Yes!" movement, Bryan Danielson defend his newly won title against AEW TNT Champion, the "Scapegoat" Jack Perry.
The two men locked horns for almost twenty-eight minutes and Danielson triumphed in the end. Interestingly, the champion was brutally attacked by his faction, the Blackpool Combat Club, after the match.
Jon Moxley tightly covered his stablemate's head with a plastic bag and suffocated him. Apart from Wheeler Yuta, none of the other BCC members were sympathetic toward Danielson, which has made fans believe that the faction's time is over.
This "plastic bag" spot has garnered widespread attention from wrestling fans around the globe. Many were shocked by what they witnessed, with numerous fans and veterans taking to X to express their displeasure. This included former WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Disco Inferno.
"Nobody in the back thought suffocating someone was a bad idea?" he questioned.
Disco Inferno called out AEW star Dax Harwood for hiding his injuries
FTR is back on regular All Elite Wrestling programming. However, a few months ago, Dax Harwood got injured in a match and chose not to reveal it to his employers. For this, Inferno strongly criticized the former World Tag Team Champion.
"Dax said he was hiding injuries... These issues need to be addressed. I should not be hiding concussions in the year 2024. You should not be hiding injuries when a company is paying you guaranteed money to you every week. They want you to stay healthy," said Disco Inferno.
Only time will tell what further backlash, if any, could come from the aforementioned spot from the All Out PPV.
