AEW defies critics as eye-opening valuation takes Tony Khan's company to #3 overall in combat sports

The latest report revealed that Tony Khan's promotion, AEW is currently valued to be the number three combat sports company. Khan also was included in one of the most prestigious lists.

All Elite Wrestling has been a great success story ever since its inception in 2019. The company has been defying all the odds and pushing the goalposts within only five years of its existence. The company recently renewed their TV deal with Warner Brothers Discovery and the shows are set to simulcast on MAX with the start of 2025.

Meanwhile, Variety media outlet named Tony Khan as one of the top Dealmakers in the annual prestigious list. It was also reported that All Elite Wrestling is currently valued at $2 Billion which makes it the third biggest combat sports promotion in terms of valuation only behind the WWE and UFC.

Furthermore, AEW is set to become the first ever promotion to simulcast its flagship shows such as Dynamite and Collision on top cable channels as well as a top streaming platform under the new deal with WBD beginning in 2025.

Moreover, according to Variety, the WWE CEO, Nick Khan along with other TKO Executives were also named in the 'Dealmakers' list for their RAW deal with NetFlix which takes effect on January 6, 2025.


WBD issued an official statement regarding Tony Khan's promotion

In the wake of AEW's new TV and streaming deal starting in 2025, WBD issued an official statement announcing that along with the live programming, the shows will also be available on-demand on MAX. Furthermore, the statement read that the shows and pay-per-view library would also be available:

"All live AEW programming airing on WBD’s networks will also be available to stream on Max and on demand after their live broadcast. Additionally, Dynamite, Collision, Rampage and all [All Elite Wrestling ] pay-per-view library content through the end of 2024, representing more than 700 hours of action, will be made available on Max on a rolling basis."

It was also announced that the AEW pay-per-view distribution on MAX will begin later in 2025. Only time will tell what Tony Khan has in store for the new era of All Elite Wrestling.
