Upon hearing this news, two former WWE Superstars reacted to it seemingly teasing their return to the Stamford-based promotion.
Back in 2017, the duo used to accompany former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. After parting ways with the Modern Day Maharaja, the Singh Brothers returned to 205 Live. In 2021 they were released from their contracts.
In 2022, Gurv and Harv Sihra made their debut for the Jacksonville-based promotion on an episode of AEW Dark.
The Bollywood Boyz were relieved to be released from WWE
Following their departure from the Stamford-based promotion, the Bollywood Boyz were interviewed by Sportskeeda's Riju Dasgupta. During the interview, Harv Sihra mentioned that the news about their release was not easy to digest.
But he also mentioned that it was a relief as it paved the way for the brothers to explore their full potential elsewhere.
"When you get that news, it sucks the wind out of you because losing your job is never easy in any circumstance, for anybody around the world. But at the same time there was a sense of relief because I believe that there's so much potential to what we can do. And I feel like we didn't actually ever get a run as a tag team. I felt that was on the cusp. In that sense, it was like okay, you know, it's not going to stop here. Let's go get it somewhere else where we feel like we can shine," said Harv Sihra.
