AEW Dynamite 250 match stat astonishingly overshadows WWE RAW
AEW Dynamite 250 emanated live from Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas. It featured many incredible matches and amazing segments. An X/Twitter has pointed out an interesting stat comparing the duration of a title match on the Wednesday night program to the duration of bouts on this week's WWE RAW.
AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland took on AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada on Dynamite. Meanwhile, Mercedes Mone defended her TBS Title against Nyla Rose. However, the stars of this week's show were MJF and Will Ospreay. The two stars locked horns for the International Championship, and The Wolf of Wrestling emerged victorious.
According to Wrestling_Mark on X/Twitter, MJF vs. Ospreay lasted 60 minutes. This was seemingly more than the total in-ring time on this week's RAW, which was approximately 49 minutes. The Triple H-led creative team booked matches like Ilja Dragunov vs. Sami Zayn and Sheamus vs. Bronson Reed for WWE's Monday night program.
MJF needed an oxygen mask after his match on AEW Dynamite
As mentioned earlier, MJF took on Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship after weeks of animosity between the two. The bout lasted 59 minutes and 58 seconds.
The Salt of the Earth ultimately captured the International Title for the first time in his career. After the match, the medical team arrived to check on both stars. MJF was given an oxygen mask to recover from the effects of the very physical match between him and The Aerial Assassin.
The scenario was similar to what happened last year at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, which took place at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. At the event, MJF wrestled Bryan Danielson in a 60-minute Iron Man Match for the AEW World Championship and defeated him.
He was given an oxygen mask during the bout to recuperate, but he used the oxygen tank to his advantage. This helped him beat The American Dragon.
