AEW Dynamite draws second-lowest ratings despite Bryan Danielson’s shocking career announcement
Despite Bryan Danielson's huge announcement, AEW Dynamite ratings have sunk to a new low. The company is nearing All In London as most feuds seem to intensify. After a brutal edition of Blood and Guts, this week's show featured great promos and top-notch matches.
The latest edition of Dynamite saw Bryan Danielson raise the stakes for his match against Swerve Strickland at All In. The American Dragon announced he would never wrestle again if he failed to capture the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at the event.
The show also featured Mercedes Mone, Will Ospreay, MJF, Chris Jericho, and many other stars. The episode ended with a blockbuster match between "Hangman" Adam Page and Darby Allin. The brutal contest was won by the Relentless star with a quick roll-up.
This Dynamite edition drew 609,000 viewers and was rated 0.18 among the 18-49 demographics, the company's second-lowest-rated show.
The number is lower than last week's Dynamite, which garnered 786,000 viewers and had a 0.26 rating in 18-49 demographics. The ratings possibly sunk because the show went head-to-head with The 2024 Olympics.
It will be interesting to see if the ratings will bounce back in the coming weeks.
