AEW Dynamite's fifth anniversary plans are quite grand; big announcements made
AEW has celebrated several significant events as of late. Tony Khan's company will continue to mark major milestones towards the end of 2024, and now new details on those happenings have been revealed.
All Elite Wrestling officially celebrated its fifth anniversary in May with Double or Nothing. While, the one-year anniversary of Collision aired on June 17, the 150th Rampage episode aired on June 21, followed by the 250th edition of Dynamite on July 17. Amid speculation on a new TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, the company will continue marking big occasions in this milestone year.
AEW has now confirmed details on the Dynamite fifth anniversary special in October. The third annual Title Tuesday edition of Wednesday Night Show was also announced for that same month.
The All Elite roster will be at Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 2 for the Dynamite five-year anniversary episode. The pre-sale begins on Wednesday, August 7, and the general on-sale starts on August 9. AEW will also tape the 165th edition of Rampage that night in Pittsburgh, to air on October 4.
AEW will then run Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington less than one week later on Tuesday, October 8. The Title Tuesday Dynamite will air live that night on TBS, while the company will also tape the 166th edition of Rampage to air on October 11. The pre-sale for Title Tuesday begins on August 7, while the general on-sale date is August 9.
The fall 2024 season will be a busy one for AEW and WWE. Title Tuesday has aired since 2022 due to the MLB Playoffs, this year it once again will go head-to-head with WWE NXT, which will air from CW Network starting in October 2024.
The Dynamite fifth anniversary special airs one week after the fourth annual Grand Slam Dynamite from Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City. Title Tuesday will air as the go-home episode for the WrestleDream pay-per-view.
Updated lineup for this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite
All Elite Wrestling will return to LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina this coming Wednesday. The road to All In will heat up as Dynamite airs live on TBS.
A big Title Eliminator between Kyle Fletcher and MJF was confirmed for Dynamite. Below is the current lineup:
- Bryan Keith vs. Katsuyori Shibata
- Title Eliminator Match: AEW American Champion MJF vs. Kyle Fletcher
- Anything Goes Match: Bryan Danielson vs. Jeff Jarrett (Special Guest: Ricky Steamboat)
Officials have not announced any matches for next week's Rampage. However, Saturday's Collision from Arlington, TX will feature Deonna Purrazzon vs. Thunder Rosa in a Texas Bull Rope Match.
