AEW leaks megastar's return at WrestleDream
A top AEW star was seemingly advertised for WrestleDream pay-per-view despite being absent. The star being discussed is Adam Copeland, and he hasn't been seen on the promotion since May 2024.
The Rated-R Superstar was enjoying his time in the Jacksonville-based promotion. Moreover, he wrestled and defended his TNT Championship multiple times on Dynamite. Unfortunately, at Double or Nothing pay-per-view, he fractured his tibia while jumping off the cage. He has been sidelined for more than four months.
With WrestleDream just a few days away, fans are excited about the amazing card and the talent featured on it. During the inaugural WrestleDream event on October 1, 2023, Adam Copeland shook the world by debuting in AEW. Since becoming All Elite, he wrestled classic matches with veterans and budding talents.
Ahead of the huge pay-per-view, AEW shared a tweet entailing Adam Copeland's picture to advertise the event, seemingly teasing his appearance on the show.
Adam Copeland wants to face a top AEW star before retiring
Will Ospreay has been one of the top stars in the promotion and has climbed his way to the main event spot in just a few months.
While speaking with Comicbook, Adam Copeland said he wants to face the current International Champion because of the latter's passion for the industry.
"That's definitely a match that for me would be so much fun just because the possibilities there with my mindset, my mentality and how I approach things and how he does would be a lot of fun. And also as a person, he's a really, really good guy who has a massive passion for this. And when you have that, that makes it exciting because it's like, 'Okay, you don't got to bring all the passion to the table 'cause this guy does too," he said.
It remains to be seen if the former TNT Champion returns to the Tony Khan-led promotion at WrestleDream pay-per-view.
