AEW makes a huge announcement on Blackpool Combat Club member just before Collision
AEW has just announced a certain Blackpool Combat Club member's involvement during tomorrow's episode of Collision. This comes a few days after another vicious attack coming from the faction.
A few days ago, on Dynamite, the group caught the locker room off-guard again as they took AEW star Chuck Taylor as their next victim. Taylor has been working as a member of the backstage staff, having taken a step away from wrestling due to health reasons, but he still found himself in the chaos as a way for them to get to Orange Cassidy.
On its social media platforms, AEW has just announced that tomorrow night on Collision, Wheeler Yuta will appear in a sit-down interview with Nigel McGuinness. This will be the first time on live television that he will get to talk about everything that has happened, including turning on his mentor, Bryan Danielson, and sticking with the Blackpool Combat Club.
"TOMORROW NIGHT, 10/26 LIVE, 8pm ET / 7pm CT on TNT Saturday Night #AEWCollision @McGuinnessNigel will interview AEW World Trios Champion @WheelerYuta on AEW Saturday Night Collision! TOMORROW NIGHT at 8pm ET/7PM CT on TNT!"
Blackpool Combat Club member Wheeler Yuta recently talked about his heel turn at AEW WrestleDream
A few weeks ago at WrestleDream, Wheeler Yuta confirmed that his allegiances still lie with the Blackpool Combat Club after he turned on Bryan Danielson and Darby Allin and even aided the group in attacking them.
During his appearance on The Mark Hoke Show, Yuta revealed that despite Bryan's impact on his career, he could not deny how much Claudio Castagnoli and Jon Moxley helped him, so he decided to take the much easier path.
With him being one-third of the trios' champions, he felt that sticking with the Blackpool Combat Club would be easier than blindly following Danielson. He mentioned how, despite this difficult decision he did not enjoy, it was one he had to make.
"I got in the ring, and I think the decision was pretty clear. Bryan’s done a lot for me in my life and my career, but so have Claudio and Jon. So when you get in the ring in that situation, and my choices were either I could cut my losses, I could stay with the two guys that have the world championship, the guys that are gonna be there, another guy who I hold a trios championship with. I could stay with them, or I could just blindly stick by Bryan... So it’s a difficult decision, it’s not one that I took lightly, not one that I enjoyed, but it is what it is," he said.
It remains to be seen what else Wheeler could disclose tomorrow night. Nigel McGuinness has often been against Bryan, but with his rival being forcefully retired by the Blackpool Combat Club, he has been left without someone to hate. It remains to be seen whether this will be addressed in the interview.
