AEW makes a huge announcement on Britt Baker's mystery opponent
Last week, AEW announced Britt Baker's future plans and stated that she will return to action this week on Dynamite. A recent tweet revealed who the returning former Women's Champion will face on Wednesday.
The Doctor returned to action after being out for a long time on this year's Forbidden Door event. Her last match in AEW was against Serena Deeb at the AEW Dynamite fifth anniversary show.
Last week, AEW announced she is set to return to the ring after a month-long hiatus. She will be in action on the November 13 edition of AEW's flagship show which will emanate this Wednesday from Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, CT.
A few hours ago, AEW revealed that Baker will face Penelope Ford in her return match.

Disco Inferno comments on the possibility of Britt Baker trying to ruin Adam Cole's career,
Britt Baker and Adam Cole are no longer together. On the Keepin' It 100 Official podcast, a fan asked Disco Inferno if he thinks the Pennsylvania native is trying to ruin Cole's career as they have parted ways.
Inferno replied, "How could she be behind it? The guy was hurt like he shattered his ankle. Now he's back. He's a good onscreen promo and character. [...] There's absolutely no way they're going to do Britt Baker vs. Adam Cole. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard to give us one week for that by the way," he said.
Baker and Cole became a couple in 2017. In October 2024, The Panama City Playboy confirmed they had ended their relationship on good terms.
