AEW manager snaps at former WWE star MVP fearing current role in jeopardy

A top AEW name recently sent a message to former WWE Superstar MVP following his appearance in the Tony Khan-led promotion. The star being discussed is Prince Nana. The 45-year-old has been managing Swerve Strickland since 2023. The former AEW World Champion is currently medically uncleared to wrestle after his brutal match at All Out 2024.

The former United States Champion managed the Hurt Business during his latest run in the Stamford-based promotion. After the group was dismantled in 2022, he then associated himself with Omos. MVP then left the company in August 2024. A month after being a free agent, the 50-year-old star made a blockbuster appearance on last week's episode of Dynamite.

During his debut at Dynamite: Grand Slam, MVP interrupted Prince Nana, who provided a health update on Swerve Strickland. The former United States Champion claimed that Prince had failed as Swerve's manager and stated that he would like to talk business with him.

AEW recently tweeted about MVP's conversation with Prince Nana on Dynamite. Responding to the tweet, the latter sent an explicit message to the former.

"I believe he needs to STFU," Prince Nana shared.

Konnan believes MVP buried Prince Nana on his AEW debut

At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, MVP made his surprise debut and said some harsh words to Swerve Strickland's manager, Prince Nana.

While speaking on his Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL podcast, the 60-year-old veteran believed that the former United States Champion buried Nana during their segment as the latter did not give a befitting reply.

"The only thing I would have added to that is why would Nana keep the card. I would have, when, once MVP left, I would have burnt that. I'm not your messenger. I would have said 'I'm not messenger,' ripped that in his mug and walked off. He kind of buried him," Konnan said.

It will be interesting to see where will the storyline go from here and if Swerve is willing to talk business with MVP.
