AEW megastar marks new milestone with Emmy Award nomination

An AEW megastar has marked his glittering career with another laurel next to his name, a prestigious Emmy Award nomination. This news should excite his fans a lot.

Adam Copeland is a legend and has achieved a lot during his time in professional wrestling. On top of winning a lot of titles and becoming synonymous with the sport, he is also a good actor and has a good number of shows and films under his belt,

He recently took on the role of Ares in the Disney+ show Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It was fairly a successful show and it has now been revealed that the former AEW TNT Champion has been nominated for an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Performer category in the Children’s & Family segment.

However, he will have stiff competition from names like Amanda Lawrence, Elizabeth Mitchell, Sarah Rafferty, Eric Stonestreet, and Lance Reddick for the coveted award.

AEW star Adam Copeland praised by Grayson Waller

Grayson Waller is one of the most provocative heel characters in WWE and he makes that very obvious. His persona thrives on being disrespectful to others and he seems to excel in the role.

The ever-provocative wrestler recently broke character to praise AEW star Adam Copeland. Incidentally, Copeland was Waller’s first opponent on SmackDown when it was held at Madison Square Garden. In an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Waller heaped praise on the AEW star and said:

"Yeah, dude. I mean, it's a super cool thing cause at the time we didn't know that Edge was going to be finishing his time with the WWE. But he's someone who did so much for the WWE, especially some of the newer guys coming up. They can't say they got to work with him, that's something that I kind of have to myself, which is a cool thing... That's a very cool thing."

It is great to see a fellow wrestler praise their peer and what makes this even more special is a wrestler broke character to make these comments, something that doesn't happen every day in pro wrestling.
