AEW needs to pair Jack Perry up with female AEW star, says veteran: "He could use the hot chick"
Wrestling veteran Konnan just commented on Jack Perry. He wants The Scapegoat to be paired with a female AEW star. That star could be none other than Anna Jay.
Anna was one of the most promising female stars when she first joined AEW. However, apart from her stints in Dark Order and The Jericho Appreciation Society, Jay hasn't accomplished much for herself.
The star is still in search of her first title and she is still finding out who she is as a singles star. Hence, she hasn't been involved in any prominent storylines. In real life, Anna Jay is dating Jack Perry. However, AEW has not paired them up on screen yet. Many believe that this is a total missed opportunity as it could do wonders for their respective careers.
Speaking on his Keepin' It 100 Official podcast, Konnan stated that AEW should pair Jack Perry and Anna Jay up as it could help the former get some heat on his character.
"Bro, I've said that a million times. He could use the hot chick. He's not as over as they think he is.... Bro, how much heat would it be, 'I have the best hair, I'm the best looking, I come from Hollywood, I got the best chick, what do you got?'" [From 08:14 to 08:33]

Jack Perry has been a dominant TNT Champion
After Adam Copeland (fka Edge) suffered a serious injury at AEW Double or Nothing 2024, he had to relinquish the title that he had worked so hard for. The vacant title was won by Jack Perry at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 in a ladder match against Dante Martin, El Phantasmo, Konosuke Takeshita, Lio Rush, and Mark Briscoe.
Since winning the TNT Title, Perry has looked unstoppable as he has defended the gold against several challengers. Some of the people he has defended the title against include Marko Stunt, Darby Allin, Lio Rush, Christopher Daniels, Minoru Suzuki, and Katsuyori Shibata. It looks like there isn't anyone in AEW who can stop him.
It will be interesting to see who will be the one to dethrone the TNT Champion in the future.
