AEW personality reacts after Montez Ford publicly airs frustration with WWE booking
In a recent interview, Montez Ford aired his frustration with the Street Profits' WWE booking. Many in the WWE Universe think he could part ways with Angelo Dawkins to embark on a solo run. Meanwhile, AEW personality Mikey Rukus reacted to the situation on social media.
Montez Ford has been working alongside Dawkins for eight years now. In a chat with Daily Mail, Ford teased the potential breakup of the Street Profits. He also expressed his desire to build a successful pro wrestling career while he was still young.
"Now I'm starting to think, do I need to make adjustments with the people I'm involved with? Do I need to involve more people, or do I need to get rid of people? And I'm looking at my biological time clock, there's some things that I want to do, but I also don't want to be past a certain age or athletic prime where I'm not able to do these things no more."
Reacting to Ford's comments, Mikey Rukus from AEW's music production team shared an old post where he claimed that the six-foot-one-inch wrestler was a main event-level performer.
"Montez Ford looks like a got dayum headliner," Rukus wrote.
Rukus reiterated his opinion of Ford with the following tweet:
Montez Ford shared WWE Superstars' point of view
Montez Ford was a part of a recent WWE Live event in Ireland. Later, he took to his Instagram account to share an interesting video showcasing the point of view of a superstar.
"Sorry about the audio, but I wanted to give you all an experience of what all of the WWE Superstars see when we make our entrance! You guys make this the greatest experience on earth. And we pray that we do the same to you all! Hope you enjoy this video!" Ford wrote in the post's caption.
Ford has been a WWE Superstar for nearly a decade. He made his official debut on the March 16, 2016, episode of NXT. As part of the Street Profits, he has held the RAW, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team titles.
