AEW President Tony Khan to appear on FOX days after WWE SmackDown leaves the network
AEW President Tony Khan has been making moves this year to further familiarize his company with mainstream audiences. One of the biggest angles he's pulled off involved The Elite attacking him days before the NFL Draft. All Elite Wrestling has now advertised a documentary following this event, which is set to air on FOX's FS1.
After five years on FOX, WWE SmackDown recently moved back to USA Network. Rumors are circulating that All Elite Wrestling is now negotiating with FOX for a programming slot, potentially for a new show called Shockwave on FS1.
Back in April, Jack Perry and The Young Bucks attacked Tony Khan on AEW Dynamite. The All Elite President was spotted days later at the NFL Draft, where he sat in the Jacksonville Jaguars' draft room wearing a neck brace.
A camera crew for NFL Films followed Khan around that week as he navigated both the NFL Draft and the production for his wrestling promotion's weekly shows. The result of that filming is A Day in the Life of AEW GM & CEO Tony Khan, which is set to air on FS1 tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Tony Khan's deal with FOX is reportedly not done
Tony Khan and AEW have been negotiating with Warner Bros. Discovery regarding a contract renewal for the better part of a year. While the deal is said to be all but signed, the exclusivity window for negotiations closed some time ago, allowing Khan to shop his company's programming to other networks.
The AEW President has apparently done just that, as recent reports revealed that he'd had contact with FOX, which just wrapped up its hosting duties for WWE SmackDown. On a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer acknowledged the dealings but claimed that it's not a sure thing yet:
"The FOX deal is not done. I know a lot of people have been talking about the idea on the FOX Network. I would strongly suspect; I do not know, but it will not be on the FOX Network. It will probably be another station, whether it’s FS1, whether it's a different station, or whether it’s a streaming component. I don't know. And I don't believe it's a done deal either. I think it’s something they’re working on."
New reports indicate that AEW Rampage could be scrapped, with Dynamite and Collision continuing on WBD's networks while Shockwave airs on FOX or FS1. It remains to be seen whether this is the case.
