AEW Producer makes huge allegation against WWE star Jacob Fatu's family; concerned party responds
A member of the AEW roster has just spoken up regarding a viral situation involving Jacob Fatu's family. He made a major allegation about his brother.
A few days ago, Jacob Fatu's brother Journey was revealed to have gone missing, as Juicy Finau mentioned. He took to X/Twitter to announce this and even began a hashtag.
Earlier tonight, Chris Hero, who now works as a coach and producer for AEW, responded to this and claimed that this was all work. He believed this was ignorant and that they should delete everything related to it. He had strong words for them as he felt they misled many people regarding a sensitive situation.
"Hey everyone. This is a work. An incredibly ignorant work. To anyone involved with this, you should be ashamed of yourselves. DELETE it. APOLOGIZE. And never do any dumb s**t like this again. I don’t care what the QR code leads to- take a look through the comments/quotes & sadly you’ll see people who have been misled. I’m so embarrassed to see this. Especially when loved ones across the country are actually missing from a very REAL tragedy. Shame on anyone sharing this in an effort to push a dumb**s storyline."
You can check out the tweet here.
Juicy Finau responded and admitted that this was indeed all an angle. He claimed they had been working on this for some time and did not expect it to blow up on social media.
"First & Foremost I want to apologize for any emotional damage & distress I have caused with the following Journey angle. We’ve been working on this story since early august for our home promotion….Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of the situation that is currently happening in the real world. I want to apologize for My ignorance to current world events. I am sorry. To those I have offended with this I apologize sincerely. This was only meant to be a story and it blew up. I am sorry." What was said about Jacob Fatu's brother?
Before the big reveal that this was all a work, for some time now there have been several posts showing that Jacob Fatu's brother Journey was missing and that they should scan a QR code to find out his last seen location.
Juicy Finau kept going with these posts. A few hours ago, he posted another, claiming that Journey was still missing. The tweet has since been deleted.
"Please call the hotline with any information regarding Journey. Malo. #WheresJourney," he wrote.
Now that the people concerned were called out for making this angle look all too real, it remains to be seen whether they will pursue this and whether Journey or Jacob Fatu himself will break his silence on the matter.
