AEW Rampage ratings bounce back despite competing with World Series on Fox
AEW Rampage ratings saw a slight increase in viewership and ratings while going against the huge competition of the World Series on Fox. The AEW show featured four matches and it was taped at Maverick Centre in Utah.
Rampage featured a three-way tag team match where the Undisputed Kingdom defeated Gates of Agony and Shane Taylor Promotions in a high-paced contest. Also, Anna Jay picked up another victory against Leila Grey before facing Mariah May for the AEW Women's World Championship.
Beast Mortos defeated Beef in an exciting contest. Meanwhile, Nick Wayne accepted Ricochet's challenge, and the duo squared off in a blockbuster bout. The One and Only emerged victorious in the main event of the night.
According to Wrestlenomics, this week's Rampage drew 241,000 viewers and was rated 0.09 among the 18-49 demographics. This number is higher than last week when the total audience was 234,000 and demo ratings were 0.06. The show saw a spike in ratings in spite of being head-to-head against the popular World Series which aired on Fox. The game drew more than 15 million viewers.
It remains to be seen what will be the line-up for the upcoming edition of Rampage. Additionally, the Jacksonville-based promotion is presenting a special Halloween edition of Dynamite this Wednesday called Fright Night Dynamite.
