AEW Rampage ratings plummet in final stretch

AEW Rampage will air its last episode next week and will be discontinued in 2025. The final show, along with Dynamite, was recently taped in the Hammerstein Ballroom. Rampage's 'Holiday Bash' edition was also a blast, as it featured major matches and plots.

The latest edition of Rampage featured four matches, of which only one bout was a Continental Classic. In the first match, The Don Callis Family's Konosuke Takeshita and Brian Cage scored a victory over Powerhouse Hobbs and Mark Davis in hard-hitting tag team action. Additionally, Action Andretti and Lio Rush won a squash match against enhancement talents.

The third contest saw Willow Nightingale defeat Harley Cameron in an entertaining match. In the main event of the night, Brody King scored another three points in the Continental Classic's Gold League after emerging victorious against Komander.

According to Wrestlenomics, AEW Rampage drew 227,000 average viewers and was rated 0.06 among the 18-49 demographics. This number is slightly lower than the previous week, as the December 13 edition garnered 279,000 total audiences and had a demo rating of 0.08.

It will be interesting to see if more fans tune in to watch the last edition of AEW Rampage next week.
