AEW's Adam Cole speaks out; delivers stern warning for House of Black member

AEW star Adam Cole has spoken up and sent a stern warning to a House of Black member. Things will be getting heated up this coming week.

Malakai Black cut a promo on Cole after this week's AEW Collision ended and called him out. Cole previously took on another member of The House of Black in Buddy Matthews and emerged victorious.

In a backstage promo, the former WWE star spoke out and said that he has been waiting for a long time to come back. He then talked about his rival for this coming Dynamite, Malakai Black.

He said he knows him very well as the two of them have some history going way back. However, the one thing in Adam Cole’s favor, according to himself, was that he had everything to prove and that he was not afraid of anyone.

He also wants to prove to himself that he can still cut it at the top with some of the best wrestlers in the world. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the match this coming Wednesday.

Adam Cole says he could have become AEW Champion had he not sustained the injury

Adam Cole was out with an injury for a long time, and during that time, a lot changed. The title changed hands a few times, and it would have been painful for him to watch from the sidelines.

Cole has now gone on record to suggest that had he not been injured, he could have become the AEW World Champion. On the Stick to Wrestling podcast, he said:

"That’s certainly the direction I think, very possibly, could have happened had I not been injured, which really did add to the mental anguish of the entire process. There are constant roadblocks thrown in our way all the time. We have to adapt and pivot. I still have a lot of my wrestling career left, so I certainly hope the AEW World Title is in my future in the future.”

Adam Cole will be hoping to defeat Malakai Black on Dynamite and look to climb the ladder to challenge for the AEW title soon.
