AEW's Hurt Syndicate member declares he will never watch a Jake Paul fight again after Mike Tyson win
The Hurt Syndicate's MVP recently shared his thoughts on the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul boxing match. Paul and Tyson went one-on-one inside the boxing ring on Sunday, November 15, 2024. The Problem Child picked a big win over the legendary boxer.
Iron Mike returned to the ring after 19 years to take on the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer this past weekend at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The judges awarded Paul the victory over Tyson by unanimous decision, with the scores being 80–72, 79–73, and 79–73 in his favor.
MVP went to his X (Twitter) account a few hours after the bout ended to comment on the outcome. He was not pleased with the social media influencer defeating the 58-year-old legend and claimed he would never watch a fight involving Paul again.
"And THAT is the last Paul fight I will ever see."
A fan called him out for his comments, but he had a stark response.
"I'm not "y'all" because I never watch his shit. I didn't even watch Mayweather v McGregor. Where does he go from here? There is nothing left even remotely interesting for him to do after that," MVP replied to a fan.
Max Caster refuses to work with The Hurt Syndicate member
Max Caster is a controversial star and doesn't hold back on sharing his opinions.
Recently, he claimed he wouldn't work with The Hurt Syndicate, especially Shelton Benjamin.
“I refuse to work with Shelton Benjamin,” he wrote.
Caster has repeatedly expressed his animosity towards The Gold Standard since the latter joined Tony Khan's roster. He never wanted the former WWE star in AEW in the first place.
Shelton Benjamin made his AEW debut during the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite on October 2 and joined his former stablemate MVP to form The Hurt Syndicate.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the group.
