AEW show hit with another major setback
An unfortunate update for an AEW show surfaced recently. The show in question has been the center of attention but under a negative spotlight. Rampage originated in 2021 and was a hit show during the initial months. However, its hype faded away very quickly.
Rampage has been rumored to be canceled as it was not included in the WBD-AEW deal. The show will likely air until the end of 2024. Things are not looking good for the show as it has been drawing low ratings and viewers. The program's rating of last week depicts nothing different.
Last week's Rampage garnered 234,000 total viewers and was rated 0.06 among the 18-49 demographics. This number is slightly low compared to last week as it drew 253,000 and was rated 0.09.
The show featured stars such as Kyle O'Reilly, reigning AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May, and reigning ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe. Private Party picked up a huge victory against MxM Collection and got one step closer to challenging The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Additionally, Anna Jay defeated Trish Adora and sent a bold message to May, who was watching the match while commentating.
It will be interesting to see if Rampage's viewership will bounce back to the top until the end of 2024.
