AEW star calls MJF a ‘phony’ amidst other chilling confessions about the former world champion
MJF has just been called out by a top AEW star to begin this week's edition of Dynamite. The star had a lot of things to say about Friedman, and he let it all out earlier tonight. This would be Adam Cole.
The leader of The Undisputed Kingdom returned last weekend at WrestleDream, showing the former AEW World Champion a ghost of his past. Both men were in a intense feud that closed out 2023. Due to Cole sustaining an injury, they never got a proper match to settle this.
Tonight, he came out to speak for the first time since May at Double or Nothing. Adam Cole decided to forego the usual talk about his return from injury to address MJF directly. He had a lot of things to say about him but mostly focused on how Friedman was showing who he really was now.
The Panama City Playboy claimed that everyone in the locker room agreed with his sentiments and that he hated MJF with every fiber of his being. He admitted that his run last year was him fighting evil with evil, and he wasn't finished just yet.
Cole claimed that while eventually they would clash in the ring, he couldn't wait that long for the opportunity to get his revenge. Cole also ended up calling MJF a phony, for the fake attitude he shows the world, while he was a 'scared, insecure little boy' in reality.
