AEW star calls for rematch with Jack Perry for 3-year-old title loss
Jack Perry has been challenged to a rematch by an AEW star three years after being defeated by him. This could very well take place imminently if things go according to plan.
The star in question is none other than Anthony Bowens. Bowens is a part of The Acclaimed and he and his tag team partner, Max Caster are very active in the tag team scene in the company. However, there was a time when the two stars would take part in singles matches.
One of them took place three years ago, when Jack Perry, who was then known as Jungle Boy, defeated Bowens on Dynamite. Bowens has now claimed that if the match between the two happened today, then he would be the new TNT Champion.
Taking to X/Twitter, The Acclaimed member wrote:
“If this match happened today, I would be TNT Champion. End of story ✂️🐐.”
Jack Perry to face Daniel Garcia at AEW Full Gear
Jack Perry will be putting his AEW TNT Title on the line against Daniel Garcia in a hotly contested match at Full Gear.
Perry, who is a part of The Elite, has been dominant and will be coming up against Daniel Garcia, who is right now in a battle with Jon Moxley and his group. The match was made official by AEW President, Tony Khan. He took to X/Twitter and wrote:
“Saturday 11/23 Newark, NJ. #AEWFullGear PPV. TNT Title Match @boy_myth_legend vs. @GarciaWrestling, Saturday, November 23 in Newark, NJ at AEW Full Gear, after weeks of confrontations, TNT Champion Perry will defend the title vs. Daniel Garcia live on PPV! Don’t miss Full Gear!”
It will be interesting to see if there will be any shenanigans from The Elite or if Daniel Garcia will be afforded to play on a level playing field. AEW Full Gear is shaping up to be a great show.
