AEW star Chris Jericho gives a worrying health update

Chris Jericho has been around the wrestling business for a very long time and has always been able to evolve with the times, which has helped him stay relevant in today's wrestling landscape. The AEW star has now provided a concerning update about his health.

Even this late into his career, Jericho has changed his gimmick multiple times over the last few years and gotten over with the fans. However, The Learning Tree is not in the best physical shape he once was due to his aging body. During a recent interview on The Adam Carolla Show, the AEW star stated how he manages to still stay in shape despite his age.

The former AEW World Champion noted that it all comes down to his diet and doesn't focus on weightlifting because his joints can't handle it.

"I mean it really is focused on diet now more than anything. I don’t lift weights, per se, anymore because my joints are getting too messed up. As you get older, how much you bench really doesn’t matter anymore. So a lot of dieting, constantly. That’s kind of the number one. I kind of shifted all of my training over to kickboxing. I really enjoy that for a cardio workout. It’s good for the form, for the definition as well. But yeah, that’s kind of the most that I do because like I mentioned, lifting weights, I think it becomes more counterproductive over the years when you’re really straining with those joints and those ligaments." Chris Jericho recently won the ROH World Championship

Chris Jericho has been feuding with Mark Briscoe for several weeks. Jericho faced Briscoe for the ROH World Championship at AEW WrestleDream but lost.

Jericho demanded a rematch for the title after claiming that Briscoe cheated to retain his title. This time, the two men face each other in a Ladder War on the October 23, 2024, episode of Dynamite. Briscoe was about to retain his title when Big Bill interfered in the match and helped Jericho win the ROH World Championship.

It's amazing to see that Chris Jericho is still involved in the World Title picture this late in his career.
