AEW star Dax Harwood sends a message to Adam Pearce after he shares a major update

AEW star Dax Harwood recently congratulated Adam Pearce on the latter's 22nd marriage anniversary. Pearce is the current General Manager of Monday Night RAW.

The 46-year-old is a five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He retired from in-ring competition in December 2014 and signed with WWE in 2015 as a full-time trainer and producer of NXT. Adam became an on-screen RAW and SmackDown Authority Figure in January 2020.

In October 2023, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H promoted the Illinois native to the position of RAW GM, with Nick Aldis becoming the on-screen authority figure on the blue brand.

The 46-year-old took to Instagram on Saturday to post a picture with his wife on the couple's 22nd marriage anniversary. He also wrote a heartfelt message in the caption.

''Here's to 22 more trips around the sun with you. Happy anniversary, Wahine!'' he wrote.

Adam Pearce comments on the role of General Managers in WWE

The former NWA World Heavyweight Champion has been an on-screen WWE Authority Figure since 2020.

In a recent interaction with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Adam Pearce opened up about the role of a General Manager in the WWE. The veteran explained that the role of a GM was to ensure that the spotlight was firmly on the stars.

"This position [of a General manager], okay, it's a supporting character on a television show that, by definition, isn't there to overshadow or step on the superstars. They are the beacons that we want the eyes focused on. But the General Manager or the WWE Official that I played for years before that—that's an informational conduit to what you just said—to make sure that everybody understands the context to what is happening with these larger-than-life characters that are on their screens every Monday and every Friday,'' he said.

Adam Pearce has faced several issues managing WWE Superstars on Monday Night RAW in recent times. It will be interesting to see how the veteran responds in the coming days.
