AEW star Hologram releases statement after unfortunate injury setback
It was recently reported that Hologram suffered an injury during a recent AEW event. The star has now released a statement, providing an update about the unfortunate setback.
On October 23, Luchablog disclosed that the 25-year-old suffered an injury during his Two Out of Three Falls Match against The Beast Mortos at WrestleDream. La Faccion Ingobernable attacked Hologram during the latest edition of Collision. This was seemingly an angle to write the young star off TV.
GALLI Lucha Libre has posted a video on Facebook in which Hologram announced his injury. The Luchador revealed that he would be out for about two weeks. As a result, he wouldn't make it to the GALLI Lucha event on October 27. Notably, Hologram was scheduled to defend his GALLI Indiscutible Title against The Beast Mortos at the event.
“Hello to all my friends in Chicago and fans of GALLI Lucha Libre! This is your champion, the Musketeer of the Air, Aramis [Hologram] to bring you two pieces of news: a slightly good one, and a bad one. The bad news is that I will not be able to appear on the 10/27 show. Believe me that I was looking forward to the show and defend this title [the GALLI Indiscutible Title], but I got injured, and I will be out for some weeks," he said.
The AEW star added:
"I would be with you all if it were up to me, but that is not the case per advice from the medics, so I will have to postpone that match against The Beast Mortos. The slightly good news is that I won’t be out for that long; just about two weeks. I will try to heal up as soon as I can so I can bring a great spectacle for all of you and be a worthy champion. A hug from The Musketeer of The Air.” [H/T: Fightful]

AEW's The Beast Mortos posts rare unmasked photo
Like Hologram, The Beast Mortos also wears a mask in AEW. But recently the Lucha star posted a picture without his iconic mask. Mortos logged onto his X (fka Twitter) account to share an unmasked picture of himself but hid his face with an emoji.
Mortos made his debut in Tony Khan's promotion in December 2023 and has been an entertaining act since.
