AEW star issues an apology
A rising star from AEW recently issued an apology after suffering a loss on a recent episode of Dynamite. The talent in question is Kyle Fletcher.
The Aussie Arrow was in action on the latest episode of Dynamite, which featured a blockbuster Four-Way contest involving Fletcher, Tomohiro Ishii, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC. Despite putting in an impressive showing, Fletcher would find himself locked in PAC's submission hold, The Brutalizer, and was forced to tap out, granting the victory and a future AEW International Championship shot.
One day after being submitted in the Calgary Stampede Saddledome, Kyle Fletcher addressed his loss on social media. Taking to X/Twitter, The Don Callis Family Member apologized to his fans for letting them down.
"I'm sorry I let you down Fletchlights [seven sad-face emojis]" wrote Fletcher.

Fletcher arrived in All Elite Wrestling alongside his partner Mark Davis. The duo comprises the world-renowned tag team Aussie Open and found great success in NJPW. Aussie Open has been appearing in AEW since 2022 and signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2023.
Kyle Fletcher wants to punch former AEW World Champion MJF in the face
MJF is currently embroiled in a rivalry with former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay. The Aerial Assassin called out the former on this week's Dynamite, but Friedman refused to wrestle Ospreay simply for the sake of competing. MJF dared Ospreay to put his International Championship on the line next week, and the match was later made official.
During a recent interview with Maggie and Perloff, Kyle Fletcher, who has been one of Will Ospreay's long-time allies and stablemates, was asked to comment on MJF re-signing with AEW and the impact this is likely to have on the company.
The 25-year-old wrestler stated that a talent with the star power of The Salt of the Earth staying in All Elite Wrestling suggests optimistic possibilities for the promotion. He also voiced his desire to engage in physicality with Friedman, claiming he was eager to punch the latter "in the face".
Whether MJF or Will Ospreay will walk out of Dynamite next week with the International Title remains to be seen. The winner will have to defend the belt against PAC later, potentially at All In 2024.
