AEW star lashes out at the company's "management;" levels accusations against the EVPs

An AEW star has openly aired his frustrations with the company's EVPs, The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson). The talent in question is none other than Max Caster.

Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, collectively known as The Acclaimed, are currently involved in a major rivalry with AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks. Last week on Dynamite, Bowens and Caster defeated the Bucks in a World Tag Team Title Eliminator match.

On his X/Twitter account, Max Caster indirectly criticized The Young Bucks for censoring his comments against them.

"This is why I hate our management. Censorship never stops. EVPs aren’t for the fans."

Konnan believes AEW EVPs The Young Bucks should replace Kazuchika Okada in The Elite

Earlier this year, The Young Bucks returned to AEW with their new heel gimmick and quickly recruited Kazuchika Okada to The Elite. At the 2024 AEW Dynasty pay-per-view, Jack Perry made his shocking return and aligned with the dominant faction by helping the Bucks defeat FTR for the World Tag Team Title.

On the Keepin' It 100 podcast, WCW veteran Konnan said, if given the opportunity, he would remove Okada from the faction and replace him with Johnny TV, as the latter, Jack Perry and The Young Bucks were all from LA.

"I would take [Kazuchika] Okada out of The Young Bucks group. Hear me out. I would slide in [John] Morrison. I would have Morrison, who is from LA, the Bucks are from LA, [Jack] Perry is from LA and do the gimmick, you know, I wanted to do that once in Lucha Underground. And I would take Okada, who looks cool, I would [Konosuke] Takeshita, who looks cool, I would take [Katsuyori] Shibata and make him a cool Japanese version, like in suits, you know what I am saying?" The Elite is currently dominating All Elite Wrestling. It remains to be seen whether The Acclaimed can dethrone the Bucks as World Tag Team Champions in the coming days.
