AEW star Megan Bayne reacts to her boyfriend's loss in a brutal match: "Just how I like him"

Megan Bayne has been emerging as a top prospect in AEW. At the same time, she has also found love in the wrestling business. Following her boyfriend's gruesome bout recently, Bayne sent out an interesting reaction.

The star, who was a former AEW star himself, is Joey Janela. He was involved in a hellacious Dog Collar Match against Atticus Cogar on June 8, 2025, at the GCW Cage Of Survival 4. The match was one of the most violent encounters in professional wrestling, a sight of bloodshed as both men emerged from a hard-fought war.

Following his loss in the match, Bayne took to her Instagram stories to post a photo of Janela on his knees in front of his opponent, Cogar. He was chained and covered in blood, hinting at the physical toll it took on him. Witnessing that, Bayne took a cheeky dig at her own love interest.

Megan Bayne is scheduled for an explosive tag team match at AEW Summer Blockbuster

On last week's episode of AEW Fyter Fest, Megan Bayne and her partner, Penelope Ford, launched an attack on Anna Jay. That led to the return of popular star Tay Melo, who had been absent for a long time, to make the save for her friend.

Following her monumental return, Tony Khan announced a huge tag team match for Summer Blockbuster. He pitted Melo and Jay against Bayne and Ford, which would be an exciting match to watch out for.
