AEW star had never spoken to Chris Jericho before being offered to join his faction: "That was one of our first conversations"

AEW All Out 2024 Pay-Per-View will showcase several captivating matches. However, the story behind the bout between Daniel Garcia and MJF is particularly riveting. This feud has recently turned ugly and very personal.

While Garcia is a singles competitor now, a few years back, he was an important member of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Apart from Daniel, this short-lived group consisted of Jake Hager, Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, Sammy Guevara, Tay Melo, Anna Jay, and former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, who was the leader of the group.

Garcia, who currently holds the PWG World Championship, was recently interviewed by Denise Salcedo on her official YouTube channel. In this conversation, Salcedo asked the 25-year-old star about his experience working with the former Undisputed WWF Champion, and also about the time they spoke for the first time.

"It's crazy because, you know, me and Jericho didn't know each other when we were put in that group. Like, he came up to me one day and he told me like, 'Hey, I think we're gonna start this group: Jericho Appreciation Society. And I think you're gonna be in it.' Like, that was like one of our first conversations. We didn't know each other. He didn't know anything about me. I didn't know him personally," Daniel Garcia said. [11:54 - 12:15]
