AEW star PAC shockingly unmasks a former champion
AEW star PAC is one of the most talented wrestlers in the Tony Khan-led company. In this promotion, he won the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, which is now known as the AEW International Championship.
In 2020, PAC allied with The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix) and formed a stable called Death Triangle. Furthermore, the trio won the prestigious AEW World Trios Championship and held it for more than 120 days. Recently, they made their CMLL debut at their Friday show, Viernes Espectacular.
At the above-mentioned show, Death Triangle faced the team of Místico, Volador Jr. & Mascara Dorada. The three stars are reportedly some of the top names in the Mexican promotion and are adored by the fans. Interestingly, Místico and Mascara Dorada had stints in the WWE, where they were known as Sin Cara and Gran Metalik, respectively.
The match between Death Triangle and Místico, Volador Jr & Mascara Dorada was nothing short of breathtaking. However, it ended in disqualification because PAC removed Dorada's mask. In Lucha Libre culture, a wrestler's mask is considered sacred. Furthermore, if someone removes their opponent's mask during a match, they are automatically disqualified.
Even though Místico, Volador Jr & Mascara Dorada won by disqualification, Death Triangle celebrated like they were victorious.
PAC career achievements outside AEW
PAC made his AEW debut in 2019. He was one of the first signings of the Tony Khan-led company.
While his time in the Jacksonville-based promotion has been fruitful so far, when the star was signed with the WWE, he achieved numerous accolades as well. The former Neville is a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, one-time NXT Champion, two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, and winner of the 2013 NXT Tag Team Championship Tournament, with Oliver Grey.
Additionally, PAC has won several titles in promotions such as Dragon Gate, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and more.
