Will Ospreay reveals how Jon Moxley convinced him to join AEW
Jon Moxley is one of AEW’s pillars and its biggest stars, and it so happened that he influenced Will Ospreay to snub WWE when Tony Khan came calling.
Ospreay was a big name in New Japan Pro-Wrestling before he became a free agent. Tony Khan courted him, and he finally agreed. Recently, Will was asked about his favorite moment in the show’s history.
The International Champion revealed that Jon Moxley’s promo following All Out 2022 was his favorite. He also said that it was the moment that swayed his mind and convinced him to sign up with All Elite Wrestling.
He is referring to the promo in which Moxley cut short his vacation to return to the company after the fight between CM Punk and the Elite. In it, the former WWE star said, “It’s time to be a legend.”
