AEW star possibly joining Tony Khan's promotion full time, 4 years after making debut
It seems like an AEW star could be making her full-time debut for Tony Khan's promotion following the announcement of Yuka Sakazaki's departure from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling.
Yuka Sakazaki will graduate from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling on December 1, 2023, and will be based in the United States starting in 2024, sparking speculation about a potential full-time move to AEW. This was announced in a press conference held on May 8.
Sakazaki notably competed in the 2021 AEW Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament and most recently wrestled All Elite Wrestling in February during the taping of Dark Elevation. However, she has since competed for ROH, challenging for Athena’s ROH Women’s Championship at Supercard of Honor in March.
The May 10 edition of Dynamite has been touted as a 'PPV on TBS' by AEW President Tony Khan due to its stacked card.
While it remains to be seen whether Sakazaki will appear on the show, her potential move to AEW would undoubtedly add to the promotion's already impressive roster of talent.
Jungle Boy's demeanor raises concerns for Tony Khan, says Jim Cornette
Jungle Boy's attitude could pose a major problem for AEW President Tony Khan, according to wrestling veteran Jim Cornette. Jungle Boy recently faced criticism for his demeanor during a live Q&A with Anna Jay and Ruby Soho in England, which Cornette agreed with.
During a recent episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, he criticized Jungle Boy's attitude, saying that it shows in his performance and makes AEW look bad.
"Again, you hear constantly about this guy’s attitude and it shows in his performance. He does the cool little combative Cirque du Soleil aggressive parkour and that’s what he likes to do. And when he needs to do anything else, he can’t and he doesn’t want to."

Cornette also slammed Jungle Boy for his comments about seeking help from Luchasaurus but refusing help from WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn. This assessment could raise concerns about the young star's future in AEW.
