During NXT Halloween Havoc, Stephanie Vaquer teamed up with Giulia to take on Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade. The ending saw Vaquer pin the NXT Women's Champion. During the event, many fans noticed she wore a half-paint on her face similar to Thunder Rosa.

Following the match, the former AEW Women's World Champion took to X/Twitter and expressed gratitude.

Thunder Rosa was shocked to see Stephanie Vaquer in WWE

A few days after facing Mercedes Mone at Forbidden Door, the star was on her way to WWE. Many fans were shocked to see her sudden departure from CMLL.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa stated that she wasn't expecting her to sign with the sports entertainment juggernaut.

"I was not even expecting that. I didn't even know that was happening and I think a lot of people were kind of caught by surprise. It's been a roller coaster of comments and emotions from fans and other people... She is a great talent as you guys saw recently here in AEW. I think everything happened so fast because she was presented at AEW on a humongous platform and then she had a match with Mercedes Mone then next week she like signed with WWE," she said.

It will be interesting to see if Stephanie Vaquer goes after the NXT Women's Championship next.
