AEW star refuses to work with MJF after his return at WrestleDream 2024

MJF made a surprise return earlier tonight at WrestleDream 2024. A top AEW star has now revealed that they refuse to work with him in any capacity. The name in question is Max Caster.

A few hours ago, Friedman returned to confront Daniel Garcia. This all happened following Jack Perry's successful TNT Title defense. Garcia arrived to confront The Scapegoat but was eventually interrupted by the former AEW World Champion. With a slight assist from Perry, The Wolf of Wrestling launched an attack on the 26-year-old.

On X/Twitter, a fan brought up how MJF could face Max Caster in a match now that he was back. The Acclaimed member replied to the post and rejected the idea. Caster refused to work with Friedman for the foreseeable future.

"I will not work with MJF," the AEW star posted.

Max Caster previously wanted to become close to MJF

Last year, Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Max Caster were part of an interesting angle where Caster kept on pursuing Friedman for a potential alliance. This all began after their interesting interactions on social media.

During the former AEW World Champion's brief time as a babyface, he did not have many friends in the locker room. One team that extended its help to The Wolf of Wrestling was The Acclaimed. The self-proclaimed Best Wrestler Alive was able to convince his stablemates to join him.

The popular faction stood by Friedman during his feud against The Devil. They even ended up falling victim to his henchmen's attacks, putting the team on the shelf for some time. However, the creative team never revisited this partnership, and Friedman eventually turned heel a few months after his comeback.

On X/Twitter, Caster shared a photo wearing Friedman's merchandise for one of his entrances. He even sent an interesting message to The Salt of the Earth.

"MJF is my boyfriend 😎," Caster wrote.

With Friedman now going back to his roots as a heel, it remains to be seen whether he will ever cross paths with Caster on AEW TV.
