AEW star retaliates to The Hurt Syndicate’s threat

An AEW star recently claimed that he wasn't scared of The Hurt Syndicate. The star being discussed is Anthony Bowens.

The Acclaimed has been a crucial tag team in the promotion as it is an AEW homegrown product. Max Caster is known for his raps and trolling his opponents, along with looking for wins in the ring. His teammate Anthony Bowens has been more than a decent partner in the ring and the duo won multiple championships in the squared circle.

Recently, The Hurt Syndicate has been passing their business cards to potential recruits. A couple of weeks ago, MVP handed a card to Max Caster and has been expecting the latter to reply. In the weeks since, Max had shown signs of interest in their offer. On the latest edition of Collision, the faction approached The Acclaimed and once again tried to convince Caster.

However, Anthony Bowens stated that they were not interested and had an intense staredown with the faction before storming out. Recently, he took to X/Twitter and sent another bold message to the faction.

"I’m not afraid of you," he wrote.

Veteran Bill Apter believes Hurt Syndicate's Bobby Lashley should be AEW World Champion

Jon Moxley is currently the AEW World Champion and has been trying to reset the locker room as he feels they aren't motivated anymore. It seems like the dominant forces of Death Riders and Hurt Syndicate will collide soon.

While speaking with Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter stated that The All Mighty should be the next to capture the world championship.

"To me, Bobby Lashley should be the world champion. They need to keep him on top but because of the way AEW has played the WWE guys, it's similar to what the WWE guys used to play the WCW guys when they came in here. Like, there were no major talents," he said.

It will be interesting to see if Max Caster is open to joining Bobby Lashley's faction.
