AEW star seemingly teases joining Jon Moxley's new faction with a one-word message

An AEW star is seemingly considering joining Jon Moxley in what has been speculated to be a new group the latter is putting together. The talent in question is Anthony Henry.

The 5 Star King is a veteran of the industry, having been wrestling since the mid-2000s. After working in the indie circuit for years and competing across various promotions, including Alternative Pro-Wrestling, Pro-Wrestling EVO, and GCW, Henry had a brief stint in WWE in 2021. However, the Stamford-based promotion would soon release him.

The Georgia native has been appearing in AEW since 2021 and has turned in acclaimed performances in singles action and as a member of The WorkHorsemen alongside JD Drake. While Henry has primarily been wrestling on ROH recently (besides a few appearances on AEW Collision), an interesting storyline from this week's episode of Dynamite has seemingly caught his eye.

The August 28, 2024, edition of Dynamite opened with Jon Moxley's shocking return. The Purveyor of Violence called out Darby Allin for a future chat and told AEW commentator Tony Schiavone that All Elite Wrestling was not his company anymore. Later in the episode, Mox watched as Marina Shafir jumped backstage at security personnel, refusing to elaborate on their seeming alliance.

The developments from Dynamite have viewers speculating whether Jon Moxley was still a member of the BCC or if he was starting a new faction alongside Shafir. Several names have been brought up in discussions and writing on the topic of stars who could join The Ace of The World and The Problem as stable-mates in their group, including Anthony Henry, who came across the discourse on X/Twitter recently and issued a one-word response on the subject.

"Hmmmm," tweeted Henry.

Bully Ray speculated on whether Jon Moxley teased Shane McMahon's AEW arrival

Jon Moxley's return on Dynamite has fired up the imagination of the All Elite viewership, with rumors about the meaning of his parting comments for Tony Schiavone and his new-found alliance with Marina Shafir.

One of the most popular theories suggests that the former WWE Champion was foreshadowing Shane McMahon's arrival. WWE and ECW veteran Bully Ray—speaking on Busted Open Radio—was among those speculating that Moxley may have been teasing Shane-O-Mac's possible introduction to AEW programming.

Given that All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan met McMahon recently and has been open about his admiration for the latter, it remains to be seen whether the former WWE Executive will debut in the promotion anytime soon.
