Brody King has been The House of Black's enforcer ever since he debuted in AEW three years ago. Since then, there has been no looking back for King. He has dominated the AEW roster along with the rest of the villainous faction. However, there has been a lot of speculation surrounding Black and his stable in recent weeks.
Most of these rumors are surrounding the leader of the House of Black himself. There have been rumors that Malakai Black was leaving the Jacksonville-based promotion after his loss to Adam Cole last year. The fact that he hasn't competed since Full Gear has also raised a lot of eyebrows. Previously, Black denied these rumors, but recent reports revealed that people within AEW believe he has left the company. With Black's rumored departure from the company, many fans have picked Brody to be his replacement as the leader of the House of Black.

Julia Hart issued a statement following the rumors of Malakai Black leaving AEW
Julia Hart was the last member to join the House of Black. As the only female member of the group, she has been able to stand out on her own. Being part of this stable was beneficial to her career as it opened the door for her to win the TBS Championship. All this was possible due to Malakai Black, who was willing to allow her into the group.
During a recent interview with Instinct Culture, Julia Hart acknowledged the influence Black has had on her career. She also said that she doesn't know whether the rumors are true or not, but the group will be fine if Black decides to leave the company.
“I think we’ll be okay, and whatever he decides to do with his career is his business, and I wish him all the best no matter what. He has been such a great rock for me, and I appreciate everything he’s ever done with me. But also the rumors aren’t confirmed or anything, so I don’t know what exactly is going on."
