AEW star sends a message to Chelsea Green after brutal table bump at WWE Money in the Bank 2024

AEW star Deonna Purrazzo recently reacted to Chelsea Green's brutal bump at WWE Money in the Bank. Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green were a tag team during their time together in IMPACT/TNA Wrestling.

Last night at the WWE Money in the Bank PLE, the women's division put on a great performance in the Money in the Bank ladder match. At the end of the match, Chelsea Green almost unhooked the briefcase, but was tossed off the ladder and sent crashing into the tables at ringside by Tiffany Stratton who went on to win the match.

On her X/Twitter account, Deonna Purrazzo reacted to Chelsea Green's brutal spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match.

"IM SORRY @ImChelseaGreen I LOVE YOU," she wrote.

Chelsea Green would love to see Matt Cardona return to WWE

Matt Cardona has not been seen in the WWE ever since he was released in 2020. The release lit a fire in Cardona which helped him become one of the biggest stars on the independent circuit. However, the GCW star has not ruled out a potential return to the Stamford-based promotion in the future according to his comments in some recent interviews.

Speaking to Sportskeeda's Emily Mae, Chelsea Green said she would love to have Matt Cardona back in the company and potentially team up with him.

"I don't know if I would work with him, but let's put a pin in that one, I am not sure. But I would obviously love to see him back. I mean ideally I would love to see him and Steph [De Lander] back together to do the GCW shtick. But you know, I would take him as my mix tag partner if I needed to." [0:37 onwards]

Matt Cardona has teased entering the Royal Rumble Match a couple of times. It will be interesting to see if Cardona (FKA Zack Ryder) heads back to the WWE or maintains his status on the independent circuit.
